 MBGC Football Program

The MBGC Football program's primary objective is to teach our players the fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship, and the concept of teamwork. We have several levels to the football program: Unlimited (age only)/Tackle (age/weight)/Peewee Tackle (age/weight) and Peewee Flag (age only).

The Tackle Program is open to players ages 7-16 (age based on Sept 1st of the current year). In addition to the PG county weight requirement divisions (65lb-125lb), they will also offer UNLIMITED WEIGHT DIVISIONS for ages 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U, with the age cutoff date of 1 Sept of the current year. The Sport Fee for all tackle football is $125 and does not include the cost of the uniform.  The uniform, consisting of the jersey and pants, will cost $75.
The Pee Wee program will have 2 divisions, Tackle/Flag. The flag division has no weight requirements:
A 5/6 year old (Flag) division - must be 5 years old by Sept 1, and cannot turn 7 years old before Dec 31st.
A 6/7 year old (Tackle) division, max weight 70lbs and cannot turn 8 years old before Sept 1st.
The Sport Fee for Pee Wee football is $80 and does not include the cost of the uniform.  The uniform, consisting of the jersey and pants, will cost $65 for Pee Wee.
The unlimited weight divisions have been established to provide an opportunity for all players an exclusive venue to compete against their peers.  These are age divisions with no minimum or maximum weight limit. The only restriction is that players meet the age for their division in which they play.
